Nsambya Heart of Dance Africa Rhythm (HODAR) is a community-based organization founded by the passion and the plight of helping the vulnerable, underprivileged children, youth, women, single mothers, widows, and elderly.
The organization was mainly initiated with the aim of supporting the families from the poor background and low incomes to improve on their standards of living, of especially the children, youth, women, elderly and people with special needs to acquire knowledge, basic necessities of life, information, skills, and income generating activities of development and self–reliance through music, dance, drama and hands on skills.

The organization supports vulnerable, underprivileged children, children with special needs, poor and low-income family background to attend school so as to acquire knowledge just like other children in the communities. Such kind of children includes those in child labour, slum communities, fishing communities, from the streets, orphan’s, disabled, children with special needs and those too affected by HIV/AIDS. ETC
